This blog is called Nazgul Banana because I eat a banana everyday at lunch and when I peel it I feel like it looks like a Nazgul from Lord of the Rings 90% of the time. So, I figured I could write about random things that I think are funny and share them to the world to see if other people think they are funny. If you don't think they are funny that's totally cool.

Fun Things!
Sometimes at work when I’m walking the halls to and fro, I often give weird random scary and funny faces to the other people as I walk by their office. I’m not sure how they take it. sometimes they smile, sometimes they just look at me, sometimes they make sounds of recognition. I am pretty sure they for the most part think I am a complete weirdo which is OK by me. Sometimes I do a little dance or walk funny when I am out of my office and patrolling the office space. I figure this is fun to me and maybe others will think it’s fun and at the very least I can be fodder for them to gossip about at the water cooler or between each other.
Ahhh who knows?... All I know is that I like to do Fun Things.
peace.

The Weekend
Elllllllooooooo,
So this weekend was pretty fun. Friday night after work I went to my sister's house and we watched like 8 episodes of Firefly while eating a smorgasbord of tasty food. We had 3 different cheeses and 3 different meats. We had an assortment of crackers and 2 baguettes accompanied by cinnamon nuts and raspberries. Some delightful red and white wine respectively, and ice cream for dessert.
While basking in the gloriousness of Firefly, I had an epiphany, a profound idea of sorts. Why is it every time you watch an epic kind of show or movie you desperately want that type of show or movie to be real life? Its like all you can think of is how you can make this your reality and live these lives and have these adventures and have that be your existence instead of this one. Man what I would give to trail blaze through space with Captain Reynolds and the crew of the Serenity, avoiding those gorram reavers and living free, fast and fun!
Why isn't it socially acceptable to transform yourself and life to replicate those you see in your favorite fantasy world? One day my friends I will successfully figure out how to go off somewhere with all my close friends and people in the world I hold dear and create this world and life and live happily. Or we'll all just go into the woods and just BE Harry Potter.
But alas, for now I shall live this life and do what must be done to sustain it and grow. But there will always be that yearning and longing in the back of my mind to take off into the sunset pursuing an adventurous life full of fun.
Well that all occurred on Friday.....Saturday I got a haircut, wrote a speech for my communication class, went to the gym, did some Loveless City stuff (Loveless City is my clothing line by the way. http://www.lovelesscity.com/) enjoyed the rain and cloudy weather, went to my cousin's house and chilled with friends, played a little poker and went to bed.
Sunday was consumed by football.
Now it is Monday afternoon and I am at work daydreaming of an intergalactic adventure through time and space.
Peace.

Moose
Suuuup,
I'm getting on that night time blog right now yeahhh boyyyy. So I need to tell everyone that may not know that I love Moose. Yuuup. Moose, the animal largest of the deer family, (Alces Alces) its scientific name. Soo majestic and gorgeous, yet fierce and commanding. I think I was around 15 or so when I saw my first Moose while on a little trip to Utah. It was early morning and i was half naked sitting at the table eating some cereal in a cabin on the lake. My mother saw it run across the road and yelled to everyone to come see the moose but instead me, my sister, my cousins and my uncle and a friend all ran out of the house and chased after it to get a better look, half-naked of course. No time for clothes when there are moose about. It was so exhilarating. Since then I have seen a lot of Moose in the wild and every time I get really excited and it's amazing.
I have a lot of Moose things in my room from pictures to statues to pillows to shirts. I have about 48 to 53 different pieces of Moose things.
You might think that's excessive and you may be right, but I love Moose

An Obsession
I love giving people new names. It’s a game I have been playing for years and years. I’m not sure where it manifested itself from, but I have always had a superb desire to either make up completely random and obscure names and give them to people, or actually give them real new names. Usually, that have to do with completely random and obscure people. Sometimes they aren’t even real words or names for that matter, but whatever comes out of my mouth becomes your new name.
Along with giving people these new names, I will often times use names as cuss words too. For example, I have a weird obsession with the name Lou Dobbs, you know the news reporter or whatever he is. I for some reason say this name a lot. Whether in anger like..."Son of a Lou Dobbs" or ..."You remind me of Lou Dobbs." Even though I have never met him and have only seen him like on TV, and it was really quick, and I was young like 15 or something. But his name finds itself playing a part in my day somehow. I have had entire day long conversations with my mom when all we say to each other is..."Your new name is_____" and "My name is____." This may seem really strange, weird, and possibly even frightening but I assure you it is normal....
So I guess if you were to take any solid information out of this post, any tangible insight into my mind it would be that......... I Love Star Wars!!!!

Other Nazgul Lovers
So I want to share with you some Nazgul News. Everyone's beloved Captain Hammer aka Nathan Fillion tweeted this the other day and I felt a great need to show you all. Follow the link and be amused =]]]] http://yfrog.com/khj4cuej
First Time
Hello Friends,
This is Jacob Jost and I started a blog. It is called Nazgul Banana because I eat a banana everyday at lunch and when I peel it I feel like it looks like a Nazgul from Lord of the Rings 90% of the time. So, I figured I could write about random things that I think are funny and share them to the world to see if other people think they are funny. If you don't think they are funny that's totally cool.
Today at work I am wearing a red checkered shirt and black pants. Early in the day I talked to a mean lady on the phone who was really short with me and horrible. So I talked really slow with a more high pitched voice and had a giant smile on my face the whole time, even though she couldn't see my smile I kinda thought she could for some reason. Sometimes at work I go a little nuts in my mind but that's OK.
Since this is my first post I figured I will just let everyone know I will try and post at least once a day or maybe multiple times if something amazing happens in life or my mind and I feel the need to share.
So feel free to leave comments and let me know who you are if you are reading this or any of my other blog posts throughout life.
Thank you my friends.
